Damn! I was doing so well.

 Then Partridge's 150th anniversary celebration on Thursday evening and too many portions of champagne!

Lee-Anne was right, "flying's not my problem" ... anymore. I only stay hydrated and produce my own Slim Forte bag of nuts (well, at least around the last three-hour flight!). Forget about juices, sourdough bread, saucy main courses, icecream or coffee. And the amaze - it's easy to say "NO". No cravings and no regrets. I could not have done that 3 weeks ago! I've completely changed my diet, beginning with breakfast; mostly eggs, spinach and avocado, as well as the zinc and multi tabs and much more water.

And the long black with cream is surprisingly good! It's surprising how even my energy levels are throughout the day, and the great thing is that it continues into the evening.

My focus (rather Lee-Anne's) has been diet and I can't believe the benefits. So that as it turns out, it's cheaper to buy "healthy" at the supermarket than not! Unbelievable! The bike HITS at the gym are certainly tough; 8 secs max and 20 secs recovery around the bike for several minutes, then break, then do it again. Did this 3 times this week and three good brisk 30-minute walks plus a couple of longer ones. Looking forward to the New Year and also the new suits.

I acquired in big trouble. Too much boozing and eating the wrong food last week - and I paid the cost having a weight increase. I had been great for 4 days and then really bad for 3.

I'd be okay however the scales disagreed. It was a wake-up call it's time for you to really set my mind for this.

It's toughest in the weekends and particularly Friday night when I'm accustomed to having a few after-work drinks, and usually dinner in a restaurant or takeaways in your own home.

It's all about balance, and ensuring the options I make are great ones with regards to consuming meals. I also know it's time to step up the exercise. Lee-Anne put me about this climbing machine for five minutes.

It was horrific. As the speed wasn't too bad, after 5 minutes my arms and legs were aching. I need to aim for Zi Xiu Tang that sort of intensity every day.

I've also set a security to make sure I eat at the best times and I'm drinking enough water. I know I have to follow my programme 100% this week or I will be even more embarrassed.
